Social Saturday offers chance to celebrate social enterprises

social saturday logo 460'Social Saturday' is almost upon us! Organisers say it’s a day to celebrate and buy from local co-ops and social enterprises - businesses that put people and the planet first. And there are more of them around than you may think, including....

...Jamie’s Computers, The Art House, Solent Credit Union, Southampton Wood Recycling Project, The Woodcraft Folk, October Books, Who Made Your Pants?.... and so the list goes on.

In fact, 15% of small and medium-sized businesses in the UK are said to be some form of social enterprise.

Find out more about getting involved with the September 13 Southampton celebration on the Facebook event page.
