You can get advice on how to go green and reduce your carbon footprint, quiz politicians and even pedal yourself a smoothie at the Go Green Fair which takes place at Avenue St Andrew’s Church on the Avenue on Saturday November 10 (11am-3pm).

The free family event includes advice on energy and sustainable living, information on cycling, recycling and freecycling, fair trade goods, and stands and activities including children’s mask-making and seed planting. Refreshments will also be on offer in the café.
The mayor will arrive at 11am by rickshaw. This will be followed by a panel debate on stage at 11.30 with speakers including Alan Whitehead MP and Cllr Gavin Dick, and a recycling game show and environment quiz which kicks off at 12.30.
