Young library users handed over a petition protesting against the proposal to cut opening library hours by up to a third. Bitterne Park councillors said they are backing library users.Tory Bitterne Park ward councillors Peter Baillie and Phil Williams are backing library users and urging the party's Culture & Leisure spokesman Cllr Hannides to "find a solution," according to the Daily Echo.
