Historic church announces summer concert programme
St Denys Church one of the largest unaltered Victorian spaces in Southampton - is playing host to a season of concerts by international artists this summer, including national tour dates.
The iconic building, designed by celebrated architect Sir George Gilbert Scott (St Pancras station, Glasgow Cathedral) is looking to develop as a unique live music and arts venue, hosting community, performance and worship events.
All the events below are being held to raise the profile of the building and generate funds to support an ongoing maintenance programme.
All events feature an interval with refreshments, and are expected to finish around 10pm
July 25th/26th
STAND AT THE DOOR
A dance and lighting event in the north porch.
7.30pm - 10pm. Free to all. Supported by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation.

FROM THE GOLDEN AGE
International harpist Robin Ward presents 16th century, baroque and contempory pieces.
With music by Trabaci, Froberger, Buxtehude, Parry and Glinka
