Portswood councillor visits Mecca Bingo

Portswood ward councillor Vincenzo Capozzoli has visited the Mecca Bingo to meet some of its employees and members and to learn more about bingo's place in the life of the community. 

On his website, Cllr Capozzoli says:

"While we were at the Bingo Hall, Cllr Jeremy Moulton was able to call out some of the numbers during Bingo game and we were all able to take a tour around the building............Overall the day was a real eye opening (sic) allowing us to really understand the effects the smoking ban, internet gaming, doubled taxes and the credit crunch has had on the Bingo Gaming community."
