Chris Butler has joined Southampton Airport as the new Managing Director. He said: "I place great emphasis on Southampton Airport being a good neighbour, and
managing the impacts of our growing business."
Mr Butler replaces David Cumming, who will retire on March 31 after 38 years with BAA plc.
"I am delighted to be joining Southampton at such an
exciting time in its 95-year history. During 2006, I envisage another
very busy year as the airport continues to grow in popularity," said Mr Butler.
"Over the next few weeks, I am looking forward to meeting staff,
customers, businesses and local community representatives. I place
great emphasis on Southampton Airport being a good neighbour, and
managing the impacts of our growing business."
