Thomas Cook announces Majorca flights from Southampton

Travel company Thomas Cook will be operating flights to Palma in Majorca from Southampton on Saturdays from May 28 to September 17, 2011. The Echo suggests that "airport owner BAA will be hoping it is just the first of many" routes the company will launch from Southampton. It reports that Thomas Cook will be chartering Flybe planes for the service.
