It's thought that Portswood's Blockbuster DVD rental store may have escaped the axe for now, as administrators confirm that a further 164 Blockbuster stores will shut as part of a phased closure over the coming weeks.
According to a Deloitte spokesperson, the Portswood store is not on the list for closure. Remaining stores will continue to trade as usual while administrators progress negotiations with bidders.
