Cobbett Road looks set to close for “essential openreach works” from Monday, May 10, and work is also expected on Cobden Avenue from May 6 – 10.

A sign at the top of the road says it will be closed with a diversion in place from May 10 to May 12, 2021.
The closure doesn’t appear on the council’s interactive roadworks map.
Work from inernet provider toob is shown on this map from May 7 – 11, with give and take traffic control, and the same is also expected from Openreach from 13 – 17 on Cobbett Road.
Work is also indicated on Cobden Avenue and Cobbett Road from May 6 – 10 with “delays likely”.
