Whitworth Road: Burglars steal valuable gold Asian jewellery

Police are investigating a burglary at a family home in Bitterne Park, where up to Ł10,000 worth of valuable 22-carat gold Asian jewellery was stolen.

The incident took place in Whitworth Road sometime between 8.30am and 11.45am on Monday, March 28.
 
Police say the offenders climbed into the back garden and then went on to force open three doors to gain entry into the property.

Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the locality that day or who may have more information: phone the Priority Crime Unit at Southampton Central police station on 101, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers charity line: 0800 555 111.
