Police attended a broken down vehicle on Woodmill Lane during Tuesday morning’s (June 22) rush hour, which blocked the bridge in both directions.

It happened at about 8am.

A police spokeperson told bitternepark.info: “We were called at 8.15am today (22 June) to a report of a broken down vehicle on Woodmill Lane, blocking traffic on the northbound side of the road. Officers attended to assist with traffic build up whilst waiting for recovery.”
The all-clear came around an hour later.
