Officers are “urgently appealing for witnesses” after a teenager was stabbed on a platform at St Denys railway station.

Police were called to the scene at 11.45am on Wednesday (July 21) following reports of an altercation involving a group of young people at the station.
The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment, but is not believed to be in a life-threatening or life-changing condition.
“This was a shocking incident which happened in broad daylight, and has resulted in a young man suffering serious injuries,” said Detective Inspector Paul Attwell.
“We are aware that many people may have witnessed this incident, and urge anyone with any information to come forward to help our investigation.”
