As reported, the Butcher’s Hook at the Triangle closed from July 19 “for a week of refurbishment work and to take a weeks break to recharge”.
As of Wednesday evening (August 4) the pub is back in action, and sporting smart new signage and “running more or less as we were before covid, so no bookings or online orders and back to ordering at ‘the bar’”.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming you back and serving you some of the best beer and chat in town!” said a Hook Instagram post.
There’s more detail about sitting, standing, masking and so forth on the Hook’s Insta and Facebook.
It's also been announced that the Butcher's Hook will be running the beer tent at TriFest, at Riverside Park on August 14: more details on TriFest here
