It’s to enable re-roofing at Woodmill Activity Centre.
The route will still be open to pedestrians, Southampton City Council (SCC) has said.
“Woodmill Lane will be closed from Manor Farm Road to Wessex Lane from this Saturday until the following Saturday, while re-roofing works are carried out to the Woodmill Activity Centre,” said SCC on social media.
“This will be a full time closure with a signed diversion along Manor Farm Road, St Denys Road and Portswood Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.”
