So far around 24 houses or businesses have joined the trail from many local roads around our area.

“I believe these events are big in London and other cities,” one of the organisers told “They have already happened in Totton and Marchwood.”

She said that if it’s successful it could also turn into a regular event.

As reported there has also been a similar trail running this year in St Denys called ‘Over the Garden Fence’: our write-up of the April event is here.

You can find a map of Bitterne Park jumble trail locations on this Google map – and if you would like to list your own stall locally you can message the organisers via their Facebook page to be added.

Or just join in the trail and hunt for bargains on Sunday, between 2 and 4pm.
