“To ensure the many different users of our green spaces are able to enjoy their visit, we are asking all park users to get to know the code of conduct and follow it at all times,” say the new “Share with Care” signs.
‘Act responsibly’
Park users are asked to “please act responsibly” and to “be respectful of other users when travelling through our green spaces”.
‘Be aware’
Specific guidance is then offered for “allowing plenty of space on shared paths”. Cyclists are urged to allow plenty of space when passing other users, but asked not to use the grass as a short cut, and park users are urged to slow down and stop for others when necessary.

“Always be considerate and polite to those around you,” suggests the new signage.
