The Southampton Christmas Market will be based in the Above Bar pedestrian precinct and Bargate Street, running from November 18 to 23 December 23..
Says Southampton City Council: (SCC) “The traditional market features unique, individually designed alpine chalets. There are plenty of independent stallholders offering a range of hand-made, authentic gifts including: environmentally friendly and recycled goods, candles, clothing, magic tricks, jewellery as well as Christmas decorations.”
Flying Santa won’t be visiting “to ensure crowds are kept to a minimum and that everyone puts staying COVID safe at the front of their mind”, explains SCC.
SCC says Santa is making an appearance at Tudor House & Garden instead, with bookable visits.
