4.30pm "Route now clear"
Police were diverting traffic around a road traffic incident on Cobden Avenue reducing traffic to single file from around 4pm on Friday (Nov 5).

Emergency vehicles including two police cars and one ambulance were on the scene, and Southampton Travel advised drivers to “please use an alternative route if possible”.

It happened at the junction to Whitworth Crescent.
It’s thought no one has been seriously hurt.
Around 4.30pm Southampton Travel tweeted that it had been cleared and delays would start to clear.
