The published agenda so far includes Father Christmas, carol singing, a treasure hunt, children’s crafts, stalls and “goods from our local businesses”.

Christmas lights have again been installed at the Triangle and look ready to turn on.

This year’s event is organised by local churches and Bitterne Park Family Fun, in conjunction with local traders, according to publicity.

Last year many public Christmas events weren’t able to take place due to Covid restrictions.
