Bitterne Park Growing Places, a project that encouraged locals to “grow some food together” this year, is holding a ‘What's next?’ stall on Saturday (Nov 13) at The Triangle - where you can also catch up with Friends of Bitterne Station’s children’s creative competition.

“We'll be next to Cotton's Bakery from 12-3pm. We'll be asking people to give us their ideas for next year and in return we'll give them some spring bulbs to plant as part of the Southampton National Park City Greening the City festival,” Bitterne Park Growing Places organiser Liz Batten said.

The group organised a big plant and seed swap around Bitterne Park in May – you can listen to interviews from the day and see our picture gallery here.

Friends of Bitterne Station will also be at the Triangle from 10am-3 1pm “celebrating the colours and charm of the autumn” with their ‘Autumn Creative Competition’ which is seeking creative submissions from children that can be handed in on the day. More details on Facebook.
