The spur will be closed while the work happens, but “single lane traffic will be maintained on Thomas Lewis Way”, according to Southampton Travel.
It comes hard on the heels of overernight work on Thomas Lewis Way from January 10, preparing the way for more electronic signage on the city-bound stretch.
