A banner has been displayed outside what was Bitterne Balti which says “New restaurant coming soon”.
The banner doesn’t give any further details away. Some have speculated that it could be another Indian, although this isn’t confirmed.
We reported in early December that the Bitterne Balti had closed. It had been under the same management for 23 years.
They blamed various causes, including the pandemic and staffing issues.
