Protest over 'Cost of Living Crisis' on Saturday

guildhall square emptyThe People’s Assembly Against Austerity (PAAA) has called protests around the country, including in Southampton, against the “Cost of Living Crisis” that it says is going to cause huge hardship for millions of households.

Says Southampton People's Assembly press release: “Ofgem have announced an eye watering 54% rise in energy costs from April. On top of this we have growing inflation, food and petrol prices have risen, national insurance tax will rise from April.”

The Southampton protest is billed to take place on Saturday, February 12 from 1pm at Southampton Guildhall Square.
