Chessel Bay Nature Reserve will be getting its spring clean on Saturday, March 26 – and volunteers are invited to help.

Local volunteers should assemble at the end of Quayside Road SO18 1DP between 10am and 2pm ready to rid the Bay of rubbish: and as usual the council will be there to take it away.
There are currently ongoing projects to help reduce ‘nurdle’ and other pollution here, but litter picks are still a really important part of overall efforts.
If you would like to get involved and help ‘turn the tide’ on plastic pollution in Chessel Bay turn up in robust clothing and footwear and bring sturdy gloves. It can be a mucky job!
Under 16s need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Parking is very restricted and there are no toilets on site.
