The lights on the bridge are for work by Southern Water and set to last until April 22, according to the one.network traffic monitoring platform.

Traffic queuing on Monday evening shortly after 6pm. The queue appeared to extend towards Tesco on Cobden Avenue
Multi-way signals control traffic from the bridge onto St Denys Road and vice versa, as well as on the southern section of Priory Road. The northern part of Priory is currently closed to traffic from the St Denys Road end.

In Swaythling the work close to Woodmill Lane appears to be by Toob, and multi-way signals are again said to be in position – this time only until Wednesday, according to one.network
There are temporary lights at both sides across town, St Denys and Swaythling. The signs there say as of today but there’s no finish date. It took me an hour to get home at 2 pm, from Portswood to the triangle. Tonight’s traffic must be murder.
