Easter market raises church cash

Bitterne Park United Reformed Church URC 600px May 22 P1030259A recent Easter market held at a local church raised much-needed cash to keep premises available for local community use.

Bitterne Park United Reformed Church on Cobden Avenue held their Easter event on April 9 in the church hall, and raised £560.

Steve Parnell said the church “would like to thank everyone who supported [the] recent Easter Market”.

He added that the next major fundraising event would be their Christmas Fayre on Saturday, November 19.

There is also a coffee morning and bric-a-brac sale coming up on Saturday, May 21: details on our What's On page.
