A recent Easter market held at a local church raised much-needed cash to keep premises available for local community use.

Bitterne Park United Reformed Church on Cobden Avenue held their Easter event on April 9 in the church hall, and raised £560.
Steve Parnell said the church “would like to thank everyone who supported [the] recent Easter Market”.
He added that the next major fundraising event would be their Christmas Fayre on Saturday, November 19.
