Taprobane Ventures UK Ltd has applied for a premises licence for ‘Ceylon Junction’, presumably a new Sri Lankan restaurant, at 7, Cobden Avenue.
The applicant has requested that the licence start from July 10, and says opening times would be from 9am – 11pm seven days a week.
There will be “low sound” traditional background recorded music playing indoors.
At the time of writing the application is listed as open for consultation on Southampton City Council’s website.
The premises previously housed The Ink Factory tattoo studio, which moved into larger Triangle premises in 2018.
There were also plans to turn it into a vape shop.
