Tree that fell on play equipment had been scheduled for removal

tree down near frogs copse townhill park june 2022 2 600px It's understood part of a tree, which it's thought came down last weekend onto play equipment at a playgound on the edge of Frogs Copse, had been scheduled for imminent removal. It’s now apparently due for removal over the next week, when the swings will be checked for safety before further use - although remedial tree work already appears to have taken place. It's thought no one was hurt.
