Extra bus services have been added to the Minilink service 14, running from the city centre to Bitterne and Chartwell Green, from August 1.

The locally owned and managed business reports “extra journeys and buses will be operating between 0745-1745 Monday to Friday”.

As reported last October, the Southampton Mini Link said previously on its site it was set up “to provide local bus services in Southampton & the surrounding area using smaller buses over routes which may not be commercially viable for larger vehicles,”
It added that the company’s aim is to create a small network of routes complementing existing services.
