There were dramatic scenes in Portswood on Friday evening (July 8) as fire crews tackled a blaze that was believed to have broken out around 7pm at the 7 Bone restaurant. Read more or click here to watch the video.
Fire crews from St Marys, Hightown, Redbridge, Eastleigh, Hamble and Winchester helped put out the fire and stop it spreading.
People were advised to avoid the area to allow access for emergency services vehicles. Smoke could be seen from at least as far away as Bitterne Park.
