Rachel Dittrich 200px suppliedSaid Rachel, pictured right: “I took up oil portrait painting in March 2021 having been encouraged by comedian and actor Alistair Green, two portraits of whom are in the exhibition.

“I’m an expressive painter and look to show aspects of the subject’s personality rather than just what my eyes see.

“The Butcher’s Hook is my local so it’s a particular joy to have my works in their art space.”

All work in the exhibition is for sale, and Rachel says she also considers taking on commissions.
