Publishers say the choices we make can have a big impact on “the health and wealth of our lovely City”.
“Southampton Sustainability Directory offers you help with making those choices and highlights just how much great work is going on in the City which supports a lower carbon, nature rich future for us all.”
The Directory already includes some entries from the Bitterne Park and Portswood areas, but organisers are inviting people to add “even more great enterprises, groups and organisations to it”.
Clare Diaper, a founding member of Southampton Climate Action Network (SoCAN) and director of Southampton Collective, which supports the directory, said: “With the recent extreme weather conditions focusing our attention on the climate crisis, we all need to take what action we can to reduce our carbon emissions. The Southampton Sustainability Directory can provide everyone with a selection of simple steps to take. Together we SoCAN!”
