The menu offers a selection of veg and “non-veg” curries, seafood dishes, set menus and much else besides.

“Sri Lankan cuisine is known for its particular combinations of herbs, spices, fish, vegetables, rices, and fruits,” explains the restaurant’s website, where the menu’s available. “The cuisine is highly centered around many varieties of rice, as well as coconut which is a ubiquitous plant throughout the country. Seafood also plays a significant role in the cuisine, be it fresh fish or preserved fish.”

As reported, Taprobane Ventures UK Ltd applied for a licence to play recorded music and serve alcohol at the premises in June, which was approved on July 13.
