Riverside Park has again been nominated in the Fields in Trust’s search to find the UK’s Favourite Parks 2022 – and public voting is still open for a little while longer.

Felds in Trust is an independent charity with over 90 years’ experience protecting parks and green spaces.
It says it “champions and supports our parks and green spaces by protecting them for people to enjoy in perpetuity. Because once lost, they are lost forever.”
The nomination for Riverside Park says: “It's a great park for family time together and is always clean and tidy. It's such a beautiful space to be in.”

Riverside Park won another Green Flag in the 2022 award scheme run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy; it says the award “sets the benchmark standard for the management of recreational outdoor spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world”.
