It’s due to run on Saturday, December 17 from 1pm until 3pm – a little earlier this year, apparently to coincide with lunchtime trade for businesses.
There’s expected to be a visit from Father Christmas, children’s stalls and activities including crafts, and refreshments from local traders.
Southampton Ukulele Jam are billed to appear from 1.30pm by the clock tower, and the BP Community Choir will sing from 2.15pm – 3pm.
There’s also talk of a possible road closure this year, although this is unconfirmed.
Pictures from last year’s event, when FC appeared in a milk float, are here.
