The pre-loved winter coat giveaway is taking place at The Old Chemist on Saturday (Nov 12) following Sunday's collection of spare coats.

Winter wear for children and adults will be available at the Triangle from 10am – 4pm.
Talking about the appeal for coats and the giveaway last week, organiser Jo Williams told bitternepark.info:
“We know what a pinch finances are this year so there’s no criteria or judgement over who needs it,” said organiser Jo Williams.
“They are sometimes quite big ticket items, particularly if you’ve got a family of children to get coats for, and adults as well, so we just thought it’s something we could do to help out, and see if it makes a little bit of a difference to some people.”
She added: “We might end up with not enough coats or far too many, but it’s worth giving it a go.”
