It’s been shut since the end of January 2021.
As reported last week, the council is currently re-advertising the opportunity to take over the community resource.
The deadline for applications is noon on December 15.
Cllr Toqeer Kataria, cabinet member for communities and customer engagement said:
“We are looking for organisations and partners who have the vision and experience to provide a renewed offer that will benefit the local community to take over the running of Cobbett Road Hub & Library. If there any (sic) community groups, or organisations looking to expand, or move to a premises within the local area, please do express your interest.”
There’s further information on the council’s procurement portal Proactis - Supplier Network – apparently under the reference "Cobbett Road Library and Community Hub REQ/1000150".
