Bus company Bluestar has announced new routes from February 19 next year following the recent announcement that First’s City Red buses are leaving Southampton.

“Many of the routes are the same as City Reds, but some route numbers will change,” says Bluestar.

The current City Red number 7, which serves parts of Bitterne Park and Townhill Park, will become Bluestar 20, with a service “every 15 minutes” – although the period for this frequency isn’t specified.
