The Dolphin in St Denys reported the news on its Facebook page on Thursday (Jan 5), and appealed for CCTV “heading towards the bridge” from anyone in Osborne Road South.

The pub posted: “Unfortunately we have been broken into for the 2nd time in a week! This time both till draw have been ripped out and stolen along with alot of alcohol.

“If anyone has or knows anyone who has a till draw spare until we can order new ones would be helpful

“?. If anyone in Osborne road south has cctv heading towards the bridge please contact me.”

The till trays were apparently later recovered near the railway station.

The Dolphin was contacted for comment.
