Organisers of two popular local festivals have announced dates for 2023.

TriFest, the free community festival on Riverside Park, has been scheduled between 12 and 7pm on Saturday, July 22.

TriFest is a small festival along the lines of a village fete, with music, stalls, and last year with a beer tent and dog show. You can see our previous pictures, on a rather parched Riverside Park, from the 2022 TriFest here .

Meanwhile, while you might not want to go messing around on the river given the weather this week, by June it will probably be a different story. All Aboard, which offers dressing up and musical frolics on and around our stretch of the River Itchen, is going for a June festival this year: Saturday, June 10 is the date for your diary. Our write-up from 2022 is here.
