It will take cyclists through various historic sites in Sholing, Woolston, Marine Parade, Canute Road, Platform Road and Town Quay, before finishing at Woodmill.

There will be two coffee and cake stops along the way, and organisers say the terrain is suitable for all ages and abilities, with less than 10 miles and two hilly sections.

With a maritime theme, the ride will feature stops at locations connected with the sea or the Itchen, and all are welcome to join – especially newcomers.

The ride will assemble from 9.45am and leave at 10am.
