Temporary lights have returned to the west side of Cobden Bridge, causing more traffic delays after some respite over the weekend, although their appearance this weeks seems 'on and off'.
Work has been taking place on the right-hand side travelling westwards.
As seems often the case, few details are apparent on the service the council uses to communicate traffic distruptions, although it suggests the lights could be there until Friday (Feb 24).
Update 21/2/23: The council said: "The works are part of a highway maintenance scheme, works are also taking place on St Denys Rd and Priory Rd. They are being carried out by our highways partner Balfour Beatty Living Places and are due to finish on Friday at 3:30pm.".
Meanwhile - as reported - Bullar Road is closed northbound possibly until Friday, and further work is starting in Bevois Valley involving temporary lights, for gas repairs.
Urgent @SGNgas works begin today (20th Feb) on Bevois Valley Road.

To enable the works, three-way temporary signals will be in place at the Earls Road junction and the junction of Mount Pleasant Road will need to be closed to traffic. @SouthamptonCC pic.twitter.com/YlsgIAqIJJ
