Street cleaners join the wave of strikes across the city from Monday (June 13) and hospital cleaners also start a seven-day strike from Monday. Unions have slammed the council for so far failing to get round the table to try to negotiate a settlement, and called a demonstration on Monday, which was attended by hundreds of union members and their supporters.
