Upcoming workshops are on March 22 at St. Mary's Church Hall, off Wessex Lane, and then on April 26 at God's House Tower on Town Quay Road (SO14 2NY).
Three further outdoor sessions follow in Riverside Park, meeting at Woodmill Lane car park, on May 4, May 18, and May 31.
All run from 1-4pm.
Local artist sarah filmer believes the workshops can help isolated men reconnect with shared spaces and experience the power of creativity in a supportive environment.
"covid has reduced all of our social skills, but those who were already isolated have suffered more than most," she previously said. "this project will aim to gently entice people out of their own space and back into shared spaces."
Katie Daley-Yates, who secured funding for the project, is thrilled to develop her first independent public art projects in Southampton, and especially on her own Bitterne Park doorstep: "The neighbourhood is vibrant, supportive, and home to many brilliant local artists," she said.
