Lobbying took place on March 30/31, and constituents shared concerns about rising energy bills and the need for home insulation.
Greenpeace is urging £5.3bn for insulation, £14bn for emergency bill support and £3.3bn for clean heating in homes. They are also pushing for renewable energy expansion and halting new oil and gas extraction in the upcoming Energy Bill.
The MPs signed up to the pledge to urge the government to expand home retrofit schemes, support the move away from fossil fuels and provide further support to vulnerable households. You can see which MPs have signed up on this Warm This Winter page.
