Police investigate chip shop burglary

It happened soon after 3am on Wednesday (April 19).

The glass in the front door was smashed and some cash was taken, according to police.

Officers were later seen apparently searching for evidence within the shop.

Anyone who witnessed anything or has any information including private CCTV and dash-cam footage that may have captured something is asked to contact the police on 101 or online at https://www.hampshire.police.uk/ quoting reference 44230152198.

It's understood that there have also been break-in attempts at a number of other Triangle businesses in recent months.
