We featured this car, with its then ten “tiresome tickets ticking time ‘til tow-away” almost a month ago on our Facebook page, and it’s only now been slapped with a destruction notice by the city council.

Many of the tickets – it’s thought they may have peaked at 11 - have since been illegally removed from the Audi, which has been parked on double yellow lines in Bond Road since at least mid February, seemingly abandoned..
“Finally something has come of my emails,” Cllr David Fuller (Con) told bitternepark.info. He said he’d contacted both the council’s enforcement team and the DVLA about the vehicle, whose tax and MOT has expired during its Bond Road stay.
Other residents suggested they’d also reported the transgression.
