Doing wonderful things for wildlife

The festival aims to benefit both local wildlife and people, “offering opportunities to learn, connect, and appreciate the natural world”, according to the website.

Events include Bitterne Park Growing Places’ Gardening Get Together (Sat, June 3) and an October Books Plant Swap and Sale (Sat, June 10); Peartree Green’s Wildflower Walk (Sat, June 17) and Portswood Rec’s Pirate Picnic (Sun, June 18)
