After the success of Stay and Play, Charlton House will be running a holiday club over the summer holidays. Also, come and look around at our open day on Sunday 25th June.

 

Over the half-term holiday, Charlton House Independent School ran a series of stay and play events, free for the local community.

"We were astounded by the turnout!" says Mrs Pay, Head Teacher. "It was lovely to see so many children enjoying our facilities and exploring the woods."

The children took part in arts and crafts, a woodland fun day and sports and games.

Using a similar format, the school will be running a four-week holiday club running from W/c 24th July.

Details on how to sign up and what a day might look like are below:

8am – Start and free play
9am – Craft activities
10am – Snack and outdoor play
10.30am – Woodland activity or walk
12pm – Lunch and outdoor play
1pm – Quiet activity
1.30pm – Craft activities
2.30pm – Snack and outdoor play
3pm – Sports and games

This is an example day – activities and timetables will change daily.

Prices are:
Whole day (8am-4pm): £30
Half Day (8am-12pm or 12pm-4pm): £20
25% off for second child

Open Day
In addition to this, if you are interested in looking around the school with a view to enrol your child/ren from September 2023 or 2024, we have an open afternoon on Sunday 25th June from 2pm-4pm.

September will see the school introducing a number of new initiatives to its curriculum, including specialist teaching, integrated computing and forest and eco lessons.
