Librarians are joining the current industrial action, now in its sixth week, against pay cuts proposed by the council. Read more for library hours during the action.

Due to the industrial action many library services are being disrupted between Tuesday, June 28 and Monday, July 5.

Tuesday 28 June -  Only Shirley Library will be open 9.30am- 5pm

Wed 29 June -  Only Shirley Library will be open 10am- 5pm

Thursday 30 June  Only Bitterne Library will be open 9.30am- 5pm

Friday 1 July -  Only Bitterne Library will be open 9.30am - 5pm

Saturday 2 July -  All Closed

Monday 4 July -  Only Central Library will be open 9.30am - 5pm

Tuesday 5 July -  All services as normal
